Bihar Class 10 Board exam 2021: The window for the scrutiny request of the answer booklets opens

According to the results announced by the board earlier this month, more than 12.93 lakh of students passed this year’s exams. 

Bihar Class 10 Board: The Bihar School Examination Board or BSEB announced the Class 10 Board exam results on April 5. Now, the board on Sunday opened the window to request the scrutiny. While this window is open, students will be able to go to the board’s official website, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, to request the reassessment. Students can use this feature until April 17, that is, the next Saturday, after which the window will close.

During this year’s Class 10 Board exams, 16,54,171 students sat for the exam, of which slightly more than 8.29 lakh were girls, while almost 8.25 lakh were boys. According to the results announced by the board earlier this month, more than 12.93 lakh of students passed this year’s exams. While 6,76,518 of the approved students were boys, 6,16,536 were girls.

Students have the opportunity to seek revaluation of their answer sheets, and for this, they must pay a fee per subject. Once the application has been submitted, the examiners recheck the answer sheets, after which the revised results are published. At this time, the date of publication of the revised results has not been announced.

How to apply for the scrutiny of Bihar Class 10 Board 2021?

Students would first have to go to the official website of the board, where they would find the ‘tally record’ link on the home page. Once they click on this link, a new page will open. Here, students would have to fill in the required details and complete the BSEB Class 10 scrutiny form. Once this is done, they would have to click the ‘submit’ button and then pay the required fee with a credit card, debit card or with the help of net banking. With this, they would have successfully requested scrutiny.

Students would also have the option of obtaining a photocopy of their assessed answer sheets.

Meanwhile, students who failed one or two of their subjects would have the option to respawn for shared exams.
